The United Kingdom Prepared to Use Frozen Russian Holdings to Fund Ukraine's Defense

The United Kingdom is ready to advance with using the entire amount of immobilized Russia's assets to bolster the Ukrainian military campaign, PM Sir Keir Starmer has stated.

In a collective announcement, the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this joint measure would escalate tension on Moscow's head Vladimir Putin and persuade Moscow to participate in talks.

They added that the move would be implemented in strong partnership with the America.

United Kingdom penalties have frozen more than £25bn of Russia's funds since Russia began its full-scale invasion against the Ukrainian nation in 2022.
