The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bon Clay. Bon Clay has the ability to transform into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The performer, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will depict a interpretation of that character reimagined as non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the original manga and cartoon version.
This performer is joined by a number of recently announced actors who will portray the group to the screen, featuring chief Mr. 0, played by the well-known actor, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.
Though Bon Clay is a major member of Baroque Works, the persona will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering the second season likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this marks a major departure in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the role. Along with their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
