Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
